License
Last updated: June 18, 2026
By purchasing or downloading Summit Themes, you receive a non-exclusive, worldwide, revocable license to use the digital resources under the terms below. Summit Themes is operated by The Choplin Group LLC, based in Lafayette, Louisiana.
You may use Summit Themes in commercial and client projects, including white-label work, without attribution. You may deliver finished websites or applications to clients, but you may not resell, redistribute, republish, sublicense, mirror, share, or expose the resources themselves except where a separate written agreement expressly allows it.
Definitions
- Resources: Paid Summit Themes assets, including source code, theme files, CMS variants, components, layouts, styling, configuration, design patterns, documentation, updates, downloads, repository access, private package access, and related materials.
- Licensee: The individual or organization that purchased the license.
- Licensed User: A specific person permitted to access and use the Resources under the purchased license.
- Organization: The Licensee's company or legal entity, including its employees and contractors only to the extent covered by the purchased seat count.
- Repository Access: Access to private repositories, private package registries, downloads, release assets, updates, support, tokens, API keys, deploy keys, or any other delivery channel used to provide the Resources.
- End Product: Any website, application, or digital product that incorporates the Resources or derivatives of them as part of a larger finished product.
- Redistribution: Any sharing, publishing, selling, sublicensing, exposing, mirroring, transferring, or making the Resources available to any third party, whether publicly or privately.
License types
Personal Full Access - Lifetime License (1 User)
For one named individual. Includes access to purchased Summit Themes resources, lifetime use of downloaded files, and updates/support according to the product terms shown at checkout.
Agency or team licenses
If an agency, team, or multi-seat license is offered and purchased, it covers the number of Licensed Users stated at checkout. Users outside that seat count need their own license unless we provide written permission.
Permitted use
- Use the Resources to build websites and applications for yourself or clients.
- Modify the Resources for your own End Products.
- Deploy finished End Products commercially.
- Deliver finished End Products to clients, provided the client does not receive the Resources as reusable templates or source products for redistribution.
- Use AI coding tools to help customize the Resources, as long as you do not upload, publish, or expose private Resources in a way that lets third parties train on, retrieve, or redistribute them.
Prohibited use
- Reselling, redistributing, publishing, mirroring, sharing, or sublicensing the Resources.
- Uploading the Resources to public repositories, marketplaces, package registries, template galleries, prompt libraries, model-training datasets, or downloadable starter kits.
- Creating a competing theme, template, UI kit, starter, generator, SaaS builder, or marketplace item from the Resources.
- Sharing license keys, repository access, private downloads, GitHub access, package tokens, or update credentials outside the Licensed User or seat count.
- Using shared GitHub accounts, bot-only accounts, AI-agent accounts, automation accounts, scraper accounts, indexer accounts, or fake accounts to access or copy Resources.
- Removing copyright, license, or ownership notices from files where those notices are required to remain.
Client work
You may build finished websites for clients. Each production website must be covered by a valid license if the product terms require one license per production website. You may not transfer raw Resources to the client as reusable templates unless the license you purchased expressly allows it.
Updates and support
Updates and support are provided according to the product terms shown at checkout. Support questions can be sent to [email protected].
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if the license is abused or violated. Termination does not entitle you to a refund where the violation involves redistribution, credential sharing, unauthorized access, or other abuse.
Ownership
The Resources remain the property of The Choplin Group LLC or its licensors. You own your original content and finished End Products, but not the underlying Summit Themes Resources except for the license rights granted here.
